RADIATION PORTAL MONITORS
INTRODUCTION
The 430C-100A Portal Radiation Monitoring System is used to detect whether a vehicle carries radioactive material. Typically, the radiation detector is installed before or at the entrance to the weighbridge.
The 430C-100A type door radiation detectors are installed on both sides of the vehicle. In some cases, the detectors are installed on the top of the vehicle. Users can select different types of systems according to actual conditions. Each system is equipped with a wall-mounted host, which consists of a computer and an integrated data processing unit (we can also provide if the user needs a desktop computer). The host is equipped with a 12-inch display for displaying real-time data of each detector, video information passed by the vehicle, etc., and also setting alarm values and querying historical information through software. The host is usually placed in the scale room. When the system detects that the vehicle carries radioactive materials, the system automatically alarms. The alarm unit on the main unit will be triggered, and the management personnel will be reminded in the form of sound and flashing lights. When the management personnel properly handle the incident, After the alarm is released on the host, the system enters the normal working state.
